I am passionate about writing, studying, reading, traveling and cooking.  Thinking of all the books that I’ll never get to read, all the interesting facts I’ll never get to study and the places I might never get to visit terrifies me.  So I spend as much of my time as I can indulging in my passions.  I loved studying journalism; to me writing is a way of experiencing life in a different dimension.

Right now I’m studying again, this time towards a law degree.  I probably read way too many of John Grisham’s books, but I find law to be one of the most fascinating and intriguing fields of study.  I hope to combine my love of law and writing, by some day reporting on major court cases.

As far as traveling is concerned, being cabin crew showed me how traveling expands your mind and horizons.  Traveling is addictive and being cabin crew is the best way of immersing yourself in a community of people who live to explore the world.  When I bid farewell to my cabin crew career I knew that I would take this love of roaming the world home with me.

Right now I’m “commuting” between my two homes, one in France (with my boyfriend) and one in South Africa (where my roots, my family and the best food in the world reside).  I am a restless soul and I know one day I will tire of a hectic lifestyle and that’s when I plan to become an expert in my last passion – cooking.  That’s when I would love to have my own wine farm, with a cozy little restaurant on the premises.  Cooking my specialty fish dishes, selecting the perfect wine and entertaining my guests with stories of a life well lived – that’s how I want to grow old!
